Resumen El artículo aborda el análisis de los resultados de la realización de un focus group con personas trans en el contexto del proyecto de investigación “Igualdad y no discriminación en la atención farmacéutica a personas transexuales en España. Elaboración de un libro blanco”. Se establece la metodología empleada, distinguiéndola de otras afines, describiendo su desarrollo y posterior evaluación de su aplicación. Se describe la contribución de los participantes en el focus group, mostrando los resultados más relevantes del focus. Estos resultados se comparan con otro focus group realizado en el contexto del mismo proyecto con farmacéuticos comunitario en su atención a persona trans. Se concluye que la realización de ambos focus group ha sido una fuente de información y de base de trabajo muy adecuada para intentar dar respuesta a una necesidad no cubierta y dar al farmacéutico comunitario una herramienta que le permita realizar la mejor atención a las personas trans, pudiendo abordar los múltiples aspectos que puedan estar relacionados con sus necesidades y particularidades.

Summary The article deals with the analysis of the results of the realization of a focus group with trans people in the context of the research project "Equality and non-discrimination in pharmaceutical care for transsexual people in Spain. Preparation of a white paper". The methodology used is established, distinguishing it from other related ones, describing its development and subsequent evaluation of its application. The contribution of the participants in the focus group is described, showing the most relevant results of the focus. These results are compared with another focus group carried out in the context of the same project with community pharmacists in their care for trans people. It is concluded that the realization of both focus groups has been a source of information and a very adequate work base to try to respond to an unmet need and give the community pharmacist a tool that allows him to perform the best care for trans people, being able to address the multiple aspects that may be related to their needs and particularities.

ABSTRACT Arequipa is a peruvian south city with more than 70000 Solar Energy Water Heating Systems (know in spanish as SCAES). In this area there are more than 30 solar thermal manufacturers. They do not have laboratories to collet standarized data about characteristics and efficiency of their SCAES. In this research, a group of test was installed to evaluate the efficiency of three flat plat solar collectors (2m2). This study was made under the Peruvian technical standard NTP 399.400 2001. As result, the range of maximum efficiency values and the global coefficient of losses of the SCAES was found.

RESUMEN Arequipa es una ciudad con más de 70000 Sistemas de Calentamiento de Agua con Energía Solar (SCAES), existen más de 30 fabricantes de termas solares que no tienen laboratorios propios para poder determinar las características térmicas y la eficiencia. Se instaló un banco de pruebas para evaluar la eficiencia de los colectores solares de placa plana, bajo la norma técnica peruana NTP 399.400 2001. Tres colectores utilizados son de 2m2 sirvieron para determinar el rango de valores de eficiencias máximas como del coeficiente global de pérdidas del sistema SCAES. Valores no determinados anteriormente con un módulo estandarizado.

The neuroendocrine system regulates several organic functions such as reproduction, metabolism and adaptation to the environment. This system shows seasonal changes linked to the environment. The experimental model used in the present study was Lagostomus maximus maximus (viscacha). The reproduction of males of this species is photoperiod dependent. Twenty-four adult male viscachas were captured in their habitat at different times during one year. The adrenal glands were processed for light microscopy. Serial cuts were stained with hematoxylin-eosin for the morphometric study, and 100 nuclei of each zone of the adrenal cortex were counted per animal. Data were analyzed statistically by ANOVA and the Tukey test. The cells of the glomerulosa zone are arranged in a tube-shaped structure. The fasciculata zone has large cells with central nuclei and clearly visible nucleoli and with a vacuolar cytoplasm. In the reticularis zone there are two of types of cells, one with a nucleus of fine chromatin and a clearly visible nucleolus and the other with nuclear pycnosis. Morphometric analysis showed maximum nuclear volumes during the February-March period with values of 133 ± 7.3 µm3 for the glomerulosa, 286.4 ± 14.72 µm3 for the fasciculata, and 126.3 ± 9.49 µm3 for the reticularis. Minimum nuclear volumes were observed in August with values of 88.24 ± 9.9 µm3 for the glomerulosa, 163.7 ± 7.78 µm3 for the fasciculata and 64.58 ± 4.53 µm3 for the reticularis. The short winter photoperiod to which viscacha is subjected could inhibit the adrenal cortex through a melatonin increase which reduces the nuclear volume as well as the cellular activity.
